Any dog
Golden retrievers, French bulldogs, pit bulls, dachshunds, doodles, mixes nobody can name. Big dogs, lap dogs, long noses, flat faces, dark coats. The portrait is built around your dog, then checked to make sure it still looks like them and not just a dog of the same breed.
The photo of your dog
Choose a photo where you can see their face clearly, in decent light. It doesn't matter where it was taken. The one from the park last year is fine. So is the one of them asleep on the couch, if their face is in view.
The photo of you
A clear photo of your face, looking roughly at the camera, without sunglasses. A selfie works. You don't need a photo with your dog, and you don't need to dress for the look; the clothes and the setting come with it.
